Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an Operations Maintenance Manager to lead a designated production team in safety, quality and efficiency. You will direct production, scheduling and maintenance, review data, and drive improvements across shifts.

This role requires 5–10 years of supervisory maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong Lean/6S knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across departments while ensuring ISO 9001 and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of supervisory and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 6S, lean manufacturing programs implementing and/or managing an Operating System (Black Belt Certification a plus).
• Previous experience working in a Lean environment.
• Self-directed team player with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts, travel and/or overnight stays as needed.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, production and maintenance, ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and training to all employees.
• Coordinates production activities with other departments.
• Works with the operations team to ensure vacancies are covered.
• Establishes and monitors shift performance.
• Enters production data into system.
• Updates communication boards and leads employee start-up meetings.
• Works with other team members to control and improve efficiencies, minimize labor overtime, downtime and repair expenses.
• Implements cost-effective systems.
• Promotes and maintains shop floor organization, plant housekeeping with employees.
• Acts as the first point of contact for operators.
• Direct operator-based maintenance as required.
• May conduct tool store inventory reviews.
• Prepares and reviews employees' worked hours for submission to payroll.
• Performs other duties as assigned and attends all required meetings and trainings.
• Review and approve documentation, reports, and records.
