Job summary

M&M Industries in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing and inventory control to support on-time delivery. You will lead the Logistics Team, partner with Production, Purchasing and Planning, and drive Lean initiatives to optimize inbound/outbound transportation and capacity planning.

The role requires five or more years managing teams and seven to ten years of logistics experience in manufacturing, with strong Excel and ERP skills

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience directly managing teams.
Seven to ten years of logistics experience required in manufacturing.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Strong Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee receiving, production supply, shipping, warehousing, and inventory control.
Track KPIs such as OTIF and warehouse utilization.
Lead the Logistics Team and continuous improvement projects.
Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and manage shipping documentation (ASNs, BOLs, etc.).
