Job summary

PJ Trailers Inc. is currently seeking a Lean/CI coordinator to support daily lead management, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives at its Sumner, TX facility. The role emphasizes visual management, kaizen event prep, data collection, and problem solving using CI tools.

You will help maintain LDM boards, lead standard work activities with training, and assist in training sessions. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and the ability to work with teams are essential; bilingual is a plus;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Participation in Lean Kaizen events.
• Self-starting, minimal supervision required.
• Influencing skills; builds trust with team members.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; typing proficient.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Flexible to changing work demands; positive attitude.
• Aptitude to communicate and participate in kaizen events.
• Able to sit, walk and stand for Gemba walks; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible to support shifts; bilingual is a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kaizen event preparation and sustain actions.
• Assist in data collection and analysis for problem solving.
• Help replenish CI supplies.
• Assist in maintaining lead daily management (LDM) boards and other visual tools.
• Facilitate 5S audit process.
• With training, maintain Leader Standard Work (LSW).
• With training, solve basic problems using CI tools.
• Aptitude to speak in front of teams and help conduct training sessions.
• Conduct standard work audits.
• Proficient in Power Point and Word.
• Versed in Excel.
