PJ Trailers Inc. Texas Manufacturing facility seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost‑effective manufacturing processes in Sumner, TX.

You will coordinate launches for new and revised products, drive improvements, and ensure BOM accuracy on the shop floor. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and 1–3 years welding/metal fabrication experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1–3 years welding and metal fabrication experience.
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and results-driven.
  • Lean Principles: Problem Solving, Flow, Standard Work, Kanban, SMED, 5S.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  • Coordinates manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including goals, training, and evaluation.
  • Designs, develops, tests or sources and cost-justifies tools, machinery, and equipment for methods.
  • Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement.
  • Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluates BOMs and the manufacturing process for accuracy.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
