Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment, partnering with a leading manufacturing client, is seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer in the Chattanooga, TN area to improve efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven process optimization. You will collaborate across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement and optimize OEE.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years of related experience; strong analytical and CI skills; US work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or related field.
2+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial engineering experience.
Strong data analysis and process-improvement skills.
Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and Lean initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, time studies, and line balancing.
Improve throughput, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Specify, source, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment.
Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
Support new product launches and production ramp-ups.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient operations.
