Job summary

Price Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support our Water Coil manufacturing at the Progress plant in Lawrenceville, GA. The role focuses on improving production processes, layouts, and standard work to reduce costs and increase throughput.

Responsibilities include leading Lean initiatives, analyzing operations, and supporting automation and capital projects to enhance safety, quality, and delivery. A 4-year degree and 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 1+ year manufacturing/industrial engineering experience.
• Experience with process improvement and capacity analysis.
• Experience in coil manufacturing or sheet metal a plus.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience supporting automation or capital equipment projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives within Water Coil manufacturing.
• Analyze production processes, labor requirements, cycle times, capacity, and material flow to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing layouts, work cells, production flow, and operator workstations.
• Establish and improve standard work, labor standards, work instructions, and production methods.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including flow manufacturing, 5S, visual management, Kanban, and waste reduction.
• Identify manufacturing constraints and develop solutions to improve throughput and production capacity.
• Support automation, equipment upgrades, tooling improvements, and capital projects.
• Use production data and root cause analysis to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
