Qualifications

• Two years in a supervisory/management role required.
• Three years working in a manufacturing environment required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds daily.
• Stable work history.
• Ability to understand and use computer applications and data collection/recording.
• Strong conflict resolution, time management, and hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily production schedules, assign workstations, and track output goals.
• Record daily numbers and send updated reports throughout the day and end of shift.
• Ensure effective employee relations; provide coaching and development; resolve issues per policy.
• Ensure workers follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
• Evaluate stations to ensure optimum efficiency; balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
• Approve timecards or payroll hours, manage shift logs, and report metrics to operations managers.
