Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in California is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead lean initiatives, drive cost reductions, and implement KHMS across the facility. You will coach front-line leaders, coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, and develop KPIs and training programs to improve plant performance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, 3–5 years of operations experience, and 2+ years in CI project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• 2+ years CI leading CI projects or transformation projects required.
• Black Belt Certification preferred; Green Belt Certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuous development of productivity decks.
• Generate cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate major initiatives across Supply Chain including purchasing, distribution, manufacturing, R&D, packaging and engineering.
• Implement and train MOS & Lean / Six Sigma processes for plant personnel.
• Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in procedures and corrective actions.
• Assist with QRMP system and operational standards to achieve RCR targets.
• Share and implement KHMS best practices across Supply Chain.
• Coordinate KHMS progress using TRACC; develop KPI visuals.
• Own Priority One system; ensure users trained and projects current.
• Develop KPIs and tracking systems; develop waste analysis for all lines.
• Lead and coordinate 5S initiatives plant-wide.
• Develop and manage the department’s operating budget.
• Manage CI staff performance and development; mentor & coach.
• Partner with business leaders on process improvement (Six Sigma / Lean).
