Timken Company is seeking an Area Manager to lead the manufacturing process for bearing components and assemblies in Keene, NH. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements through lean practices and strong leadership of multi‑zone, multi‑shift operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related technical field and extensive leadership experience; a master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field is required.
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing leadership; a Master’s is preferred.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Lean Manufacturing experience or certification.
• Experience developing equipment and manning capacity models.
• Production or materials planning experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the manufacturing process flow from component to finished bearing product.
• Develop, plan, and execute KPIs (safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity).
• Lead Kaizen and lean initiatives to reduce waste and cost.
• Plan takt production and manage annual cost center budgets.
• Communicate production requirements and issues with internal teams and customers.
• Mentor and develop associates; build high-performing teams.
