Heath Consultants Incorporated is seeking a Leak Survey Field Technician in Hartford, CT. You will inspect natural gas systems, detect leaks with advanced equipment, and ensure safety compliance. No prior experience required—paid training and certifications are provided.

The role includes walking 4–7 miles daily, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working outdoors in all weather. The POV program offers weekly vehicle allowances, a fuel card, and other benefits to support your mobility and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop; lift heavy items.
• Walk 4–7 miles per day in all weather conditions.
• Proficient using technology (smartphone, tablet).
• Ability to read and understand utility maps.
• Ability to work well in a group or individually.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leak surveys using specialized detection equipment.
• Accurately document findings and complete compliance reports.
• Follow strict safety protocols and federal and local regulations.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and members of the public.
