Heath Consultants Incorporated is seeking a Leak Survey Field Technician in New Haven, CT. Entry-level role with paid training, weekly pay, and POV benefits. You will inspect gas systems, detect leaks, document findings, and follow safety regulations to protect people and property.

No prior experience required; our program includes industry certifications and ongoing training to advance professionally. You will work outdoors and support public safety through hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift items as needed.
• Walk 4–7 miles per day in all weather conditions.
• Strong reliability and accountability.
• Proficient using technology (smartphone, tablet).
• Ability to use simple hand tools and read maps.
• Team oriented but able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leak surveys using specialized detection equipment.
• Accurately document findings and complete compliance reports.
• Follow strict safety protocols and federal/local regulations.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and the public.
• Inspect natural gas systems and detect potential leaks.
• Walk 4–7 miles per day and perform duties in various weather conditions.
