Job summary

Heath Consultants Incorporated is seeking an Entry-Level Leak Survey Field Technician in Lawrence, MA. The role involves inspecting natural gas systems, using gas detection equipment, and ensuring safety compliance. No prior experience is required as we provide paid training and certifications.

You’ll walk daily routes outdoors, document findings, and communicate professionally with homeowners. A valid license, DOT screening, and the ability to work in varying weather are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop on varying terrain, and to lift heavy items.
• Ability to walk 4–7 miles per day in all weather conditions.
• Strong reliability and accountability.
• Proficient using technology (smartphone, tablet).
• Ability to use simple hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand utility maps.
• Works well within a group as well as individually.

Responsibilities

• Inspect natural gas distribution systems.
