Job summary

E Source in Nashville, TN seeks a Leak Detection Crew Manager to lead and develop field technicians across multiple project locations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or related field.
• Strong hands-on field experience in leak detection or related technical discipline.
• Experience supervising or leading field technicians or crews.
• Experience managing scheduling, staffing, and resource coordination across multiple teams or locations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
• Comfort with technology, including tablets and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop field technicians and crew leaders.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training activities.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, and succession development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a scalable training program for new hires.
• Collaborate with project managers and utility clients to communicate findings and support project execution.
• Monitor field work quality and establish objective methods for evaluating team performance, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate staffing, project assignments, and scheduling across multiple teams and project locations to ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversee vehicle fleet, tool, and equipment inventory, including tracking, maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Evaluate and update existing procedures to support expanded operations with varying scope requirements and a broader client base.
• Review timesheets, expenses, and travel arrangements to improve cost efficiency, accuracy, and consistency, and help ensure reliable data, reporting, and compliance with company processes.
• Travel throughout the US as needed to support crews across multiple project locations, occasionally for extended periods.
