Job description

Overview:

Optimizes and manages the end-to-end process of automated marketing campaigns for LEAF, from planning and implementation to measurement and analysis, ensuring seamless customer journeys and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our marketing strategies. Creates, implements, and improves best practices ensuring continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage LEAF email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment; evaluate these for improvements and ensure accurate campaign releases.

  • Manage the maintenance of marketing automation integration with the customer relationship management system (CRM); oversee integration of additional platforms into marketing automation software as needed, including managing the maintenance of clean and segmented contact databases for targeted marketing efforts.

  • Assist management in developing comprehensive marketing automation strategies that align with business goals and objectives. Lead execution of these strategies through all digital marketing channels.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI (Return on Investment). Use data insights to assist in refining strategies, identify opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Identify opportunities for automated workflows that assist in automating various marketing activities, including lead generation, lead scoring, and drip campaigns across various stages of the customer journey.

  • Manage the implementation of lead scoring models to identify and prioritize high-potential leads for sales teams.

  • Work closely with LEAF Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of automation efforts.

  • Remain current with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the marketing automation process; evaluate and recommend new technologies that can enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.

  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ marketing automation platform experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ marketing automation platform experience

Minimum of 1 years’ managerial, supervisory and/or work leadership experience

Understanding of email marketing best practices, lead generation, and customer segmentation

Proficiency in data analysis

Experience driving actionable insights from campaign metrics

Working knowledge of pertinent customer relationship management software

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Detail-oriented

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $93,614.36 - $156,023.93 Annual (USD).
