Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC in Denver, PA is seeking a Leadperson for our 1st Shift Material Handling crew, Monday–Friday starting at 6:00 AM.

The Leadperson will plan daily operations, direct and train a crew, meet shipping schedules within budget, and ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining the ability to perform all department functions.

Qualifications

• CDL A driver's license required.
• Experience in concrete or construction preferred.
• 1-3 years precast/pre-stress industry preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily shipping tasks to maximize efficiency.
• Direct and train a work crew; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Meet shipping schedules within budget allocations.
• Preplan loading and staging of trailers; assign trailers as needed.
• Interact with all levels of the organization to achieve goals.
• Work outdoors year-round.

High Concrete Group LLC is currently seeking a Lead person for our 1st Shift Material Handling crew. This is a Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:00AM.

The Leadperson is responsible for daily planning; directing, training, implementation, and general supervision of his/her assigned area. Accountable to meet shipping schedules within budgeted allocations, and to meet the above responsibilities while ensuring conformance to safety and quality standards. Accountable to maintain a demonstrated ability to perform all the functions/operations of those positions within the department.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

• Concrete and/or construction experience, preferred
• 1-3 years precast / pre-stress industry, preferred
• CDL A driver's license required
• Good communication / follow up skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to manage / lead a team while maintaining company polices
• Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks on a daily basis / set direction
• Ability to read & interpret blue prints, required
• Working in outdoor elements year round is required

• Assign trailers for shipping as needed.
• Preplanning of shipping trailers for loading and storing of unusual pieces.
• Interacts with all levels of the Organization to achieve company goals
• Meets company metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and material
• Work outside year round.
