Job summary

MEC Construction LLC is seeking a field supervisor to lead a small crew on natural gas construction projects. You will stay hands-on in field operations while directing tasks and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating priorities, supervising crew members, and ensuring quality. Travel is required, and OSHA 10 is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mid-stream natural gas construction.
• Ability to lead a small group (2-5) employees.
• Ability to read blueprints, ISOs, and P&IDs.

Job description

This role will be responsible for leading a small group (2-5) employees in the execution of assigned tasks. The chosen candidate will remain as a hands on member of the field operation team.

Responsibilities:

• Accepts field assignments from Superintendent then completes assigned tasks by gather materials, equipment, through the management of assigned personnel
• Directs and motivates field personnel in the execution of assigned tasks
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities to assigned crew members
• Supervise and train assigned crew members
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Elevates issues to foreman or supervisor
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment for assigned crew members by following and enforcing company practices and standards
• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking and climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain)
• Frequent lifting (up to and including 50 pounds)
• Frequent bending, twisting and standing
• Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions
• Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments as required
• The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the location

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experiencein the mid-stream natural gas construction industry
• Must have theability to lead a small group (2-5 employees) in accomplishing assigned tasks
• Ability to read blue prints, ISOs, and P&IDs required
• Must have theability to read blue prints
• Must have ability to meet fast paced and changing schedules and deadlines
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to perform allother duties as assigned

Licenses or Certifications:

• OSHA 10 Certification Preferred
