Iowa 80 Truckstop INC in Walcott, IA invites you to join its Iowa 80 Training Program designed to accelerate your career and prepare you for leadership in customer service. This on-site program features structured training, hands-on learning across multiple departments, and exposure to a 24/7 operation while mentor-led progress tracks.

You’ll gain valuable experience, be encouraged to relocate for promotions, and benefit from tuition assistance, health and life insurance, a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Open availability to any shift, weekends and holidays.
• Eagerness to relocate for promotion after program completion.
• Willingness to learn and teach others in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 1 year of structured training at Iowa 80 - home of the World’s Largest Truckstop.
• Learn across departments during 24/7/365 operations with on-site staff.
• Develop expertise in the Fuel Center, Main Store, Service Center, and other areas.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute ideas to improve operations.
• Demonstrate leadership mindset and pursue growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• One year of structured training at Iowa 80 - home of the World’s Largest Truckstop.
• Visit our other Truckstop locations (Kenly, NC, and Joplin, MO)
• 24/7/365 operation - You'll spend time on each shift learning alongside our long-term staff at the Fuel Center, Main Store, Service Center, Truckomat, Maintenance/Housekeeping, Museum, Iowa80.com, Headquarters, and Special Projects.
• Go above and beyond for our customers and employees.
• Become a specialist in each department's programs, procedures, and systems.
• Be the best that you can ask a lot of questions!
• Be open to adapting to different environments that have diverse groups of employees.
• Show a strong initiative.
• Iowa 80 encourages our employees’ input – observe and communicate effective ways of conducting business so we can be innovative, efficient, and better.
