Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals for a Leadership Trainee Program designed to develop future leaders in dealership operations. The two-year, three-phase program exposes trainees to Parts, Service, rentals, and sales support roles to build customer solutions and enterprise skills.

The rotation includes hands-on assignments, job shadowing, and management tasks, with a pathway to permanent positions across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan locations after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate's degree preferred in business, marketing, transportation, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in person.
• Comfortable soliciting new business and meeting new people.
• Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to travel up to 25% with overnight stays within our multi-state service territory.
• Intermediate experience with CRM systems and Google Drive preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Progress through the established phases (Dealership Rotation, Business/Enterprise Learning, and Prospecting) within 1.25 to 2.5-year timeline.
• Master core business competencies including Presentations, Customer Service, Communication, Basics of Prospecting and Selling, Needs Analysis, Closing, and Solutioning.
• Learn day-to-day operations and customer engagement protocols within the Parts and Service departments.
• Shadow existing Sales/Ops experts to learn enterprise software (CRM, Karmak Fusion, Decisiv, PACCAR.net, etc.) and customer management.
• Identify potential customers, generate cross-departmental leads, and improve data integrity within company systems.
• Work with service and parts teams to make customer calls and increase market penetration.

Job Purpose

The Leadership Trainee Program is a comprehensive 2-year training program designed to develop the future leaders of JX Enterprises. Primarily focused on a future in our dealership operations, you will be provided with the experience, skills, and tools necessary to lead and solve client business and transportation challenges with JX’s value-added solutions.

Program Overview

Participants are given exposure to the entire organization through a three-phase curriculum:

1. JX Dealership Rotation (3 Months): Introduction into day-to-day operations and customer engagement, focusing specifically on our Parts and Service departments.
2. Business & Enterprise Learning (15 Months): Immersive, hands-on experience acting in foundational customer facing roles such as inventory control, rental operations, parts, service, customer solution implementation, event execution, and other sales support roles. This phase also includes job shadowing as well as specific management tasks.
3. Growth Activities & Prospecting (6 Months): Focused application of Operational and leadership skills to drive operational efficiency and support across Rental, Used Truck, New Truck, Lease, Parts, and Service divisions.

Placement & Transition

Six months prior to the conclusion of the program, we will collaborate with you to identify and secure a permanent position within the organization that aligns with your developed skill set and current business needs. Promotion

Upon successful completion of the training, presentations, and core competencies, the Trainee will be promoted to an Operations position. You will be responsible for growing your knowledge and skills within the fixed operations side of our business to prepare for future management roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Successful completion of training requirements: Progress through the established phases (Dealership Rotation, Business/Enterprise Learning, and Prospecting) within the 1.25 to 2.5-year timeline.
• Skill Development: Master core business competencies including Presentations, Customer Service, Communication, Basics of Prospecting and Selling, Needs Analysis, Closing, and Solutioning.
• Operational Integration: Learn day-to-day operations and customer engagement protocols within the Parts and Service departments.
• Role Immersion: Take on responsibilities in foundational positions (e.g., Parts Counter, Service Counter, Regional Coordinator, etc.) and shadow existing Sales/Ops experts to learn enterprise software (CRM, Karmak Fusion, Decisiv, PACCAR.net, etc.) and customer management.
• Growth & Prospecting: Under the direction of your mentors and the Business Development management team, identify potential customers, generate cross-departmental leads, and improve data integrity within company systems.
• Market Strategy: Work with service and parts teams to make customer calls and increase overall JX market penetration.
• Perform additional duties/projects as needed.
