Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking bright, technically grounded individuals to join its Leadership Development Program in the United States. This two-year program accelerates development through high-impact rotations, mentorship, and exposure to manufacturing and engineering leadership tracks.

The program targets graduates with a Chemical Engineering background, internship experience, and a willingness to relocate within the U.S. for diverse assignments and travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of one internship or CO-OP with practical experience in strategic marketing or market development (two or more preferred) with a 3.2 GPA.
  • Geographically mobile within the United States based on assignment location and travel internationally.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • New product scale up within, or product transfer between our chemicals operations.
  • Capital project execution and commissioning.
  • Integrating global Manufacturing Excellence into plant operations.
  • Leading a six-sigma project to improve product yield, uptime, or energy usage.

Our LDP consists of three (3) rotational assignments that align to current strategic initiatives within our business.

After successfully completing the program, you will be prepared for an exciting, impactful, and challenging Operations & Engineering role.   • Candidates must be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess a passion for strengthening operational, strategic thinking and leadership skills.
