Job summary

Synthomer plc is launching its Leadership Development Program – Adhesive Solutions in the United States, designed to fast-track high-potential engineers into operations and engineering leadership. The two-year program offers four rotational assignments aligned to strategic initiatives, mentoring, and personal development planning to build senior capability.

Participants gain exposure to new product scale-up, capital projects, Manufacturing Excellence, and Six Sigma projects, with career tracks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of one internship or CO-OP that provide practical experience in strategic marketing or market development (preferred).
• Geographically mobile during the program, including ability to relocate within the U.S.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Four rotational assignments that align to current strategic initiatives within our business.
• Contribute to new product scale-up or product transfer between our chemical operations.
• Capital project execution and commissioning; integrating Manufacturing Excellence into plant operations.
• Lead a six-sigma project to improve product yield, uptime, or energy usage.
