Job Description

Metrics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Leadership Development Coach as we compete for a contract with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Education. This project involves delivering one-on-one leadership coaching and professional development for key administrators, focusing on enhancing communication, long-term planning, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. This is a fully remote position, with all services delivered virtually, offering an exciting opportunity to directly support the strategic objectives of educational leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized coaching sessions to district and school administrators to strengthen leadership capabilities.
  • Design and facilitate virtual professional development workshops centered on communication practices, planning, accountability, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with educational leaders to align training with district vision and strategic goals.
  • Support administrators in setting, monitoring, and documenting long-term objectives and milestones.
  • Guide leaders in developing effective accountability practices, including task delegation and performance tracking.
  • Assist administrators in gathering and analyzing educational data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop tailored resources and training materials to address the unique needs of the client’s leadership team.
  • Provide timely written progress reports validating specific work performed and coaching outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all information security and privacy requirements in handling client or student data.
  • Participate in required federal information security and annual IT training to ensure compliance with contract standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Leadership, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in leadership development, executive coaching, or professional development for educational administrators.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging virtual training and coaching sessions.
  • Ability to pass a background check required for working in educational environments and managing sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience working with K-12 education clients, especially within Native American or culturally diverse school systems.
  • Direct experience collaborating with the Navajo Nation or similar tribal communities, with an understanding of their unique educational context and cultural perspectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data-driven decision-making and district-level strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with federal compliance requirements and virtual information security best practices.
