Right At Home is seeking lead Caregivers in Wallingford, CT and Watertown, CT to support elderly clients in their homes. The role includes leadership tasks such as covering urgent shifts, mentorship, supervisory visits, PPE deliveries, and providing assistance in the office when needed.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months caregiving experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. We offer weekly pay, paid time off, and paid training.

Right At Home in Home Care, located in Wallingford, CT and Watertown, CT is currently seeking lead Caregivers to provide care to our elderly clients in the convenience of their homes. The ideal candidate should have 6 months or more of documented caregiving experience. This role involves supporting older adults in their homes, and performing leadership task such as covering urgent shifts, Mentorship, supervisory visits, PPE deliveries, and providing assistance in the office when needed.

• Targeted areas: Wallingford, Meriden, Middletown, Southington, Cheshire, Waterbury, Naugatuck, Watertown, Woodbury and surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits for the Caregiver

• Full time, Part-time Salary: $17.50-$22.00/hour

Requirements of the Caregiver:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable Transportation

• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check

• CNA or HHA Certification
• 6 months of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare preferred

You are able to assist the client in many ways, this could include (but are not limited to), medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, dementia care, companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Must Haves:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• You must have a high school diploma or GED
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Must have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
• Current CPR Certificate is recommended
• 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course.
