Job summary

Catlin Gabel School seeks a Special Gifts Officer to build relationships with alumni and donors, growing the pipeline of support. This frontline fundraising role manages a 120–150 donor portfolio, focusing on leadership gifts from $1,000 to $10,000+ and beyond.

Qualifications

1–2 years of direct fundraising or donor relations experience.
Experience managing a portfolio or pipeline is valuable.
Strong writing, technology, data, and CRM skills; Raiser's Edge NXT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 120–150 donors and prospects with a focus on annual gifts generally in the $1,000-$10,000+ range.
Identify and qualify new prospects—particularly alumni—and build a strong pipeline for future giving.
Cultivate, solicit and steward donor relationships through visits, proposals, events and stewardship.
Use donor data and CRM tools to prioritize and coordinate donor strategy with Advancement colleagues.
