The Portfolio Management Leader manages a team of strategic category managers responsible for optimizing procurement spend for a portfolio of categories or major projects having significant impact on organizational and business unit goals and objectives.Develops and implements supply chain strategies, targets and schedules to achieve goals and objectives for cost management, supplier management (including supplier diversity and process improvement).Partners with senior executives and senior business unit stakeholders to understand business unit spending needs across categories and guides category management team to develop category strategies that meet business unit needs.Influences business unit spending decisions to align with category strategies and optimize spending.
