Overview

Title: Leader in Me Coach & Consultant

Division & Department: Education Coaching & Consulting

Status: Full-Time Exempt

Reports to: Coaching Director

Location: Hybrid – Anywhere in Greater Los Angeles, California

Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $110-140k salary*

Job Summary: The Leader in Me (LIM) Coach and Consultant will partner with all school stakeholders to ensure they achieve high-leverage results, aligned to specific district/school goals, with LIM implementation year after year. Focus will be on building exceptional relationships with existing LIM schools. This is achieved through virtual and onsite delivery of coaching sessions and workshops, with frequent virtual touchpoints and provision of resources and guidance on implementation. This role supports schools by engaging all stakeholders to progress toward Lighthouse results and beyond.

Essential Job Functions
  • LIM Coaches will be assigned 30-60 LIM schools with coaching responsibilities related to governance, engagement, and alignment to school improvement or district strategic plans to achieve high-leverage results.
  • Deliver virtual and onsite coaching sessions that include understanding school history, pre-consult calls to determine focus and plan, day-of delivery, and follow-up communication to include the Leader in Me Journey collaboration space on the Leader in Me Online platform.
  • Stay current with relevant educational trends and technology platforms to serve as a partner to our schools.
  • Engage Principals and Lighthouse Coordinators from multiple LIM schools through Community Learning Days.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing schools and district leaders to help them understand the LIM process, schedule next steps, support retention, and expand the LIM process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams to communicate the value of the LIM process and coaching to prospective schools.
  • Deliver virtual and onsite workshops each year to schools throughout North America, primarily during the summer months.
  • Travel independently (including overnight travel) up to 80% of the time depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years in K-12 Education
  • Experience as a building Principal and/or District Level Administrator
