Job summary

Alpha School is seeking a results-oriented Youth Program Manager (Lead Guide) to coach campus Guides, develop leaders, and build a culture of excellence across select campuses in the US.

You will lead life-skills workshops, motivate students to achieve ambitious goals, and use data-driven insights to improve performance while avoiding traditional lectures. This role focuses on shaping K-12 experiences and expanding Alpha’s campus network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops developing communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
