Qualifications

• 2–3 years yard operations, load-planning and loading experience required.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and follow DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and off-load trailers, trucks and other vehicles using forklifts.
• Prepare freight for OTW shipment.
• Ensure trailers are organized and accounted for.
• Tie down and secure loads on flatbeds per DOT regulations and Carlile policies.
• Inspect all flatbeds before leaving the terminal.
• Daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics on scheduling daily activities.
• Fill in for Yard Supervisor when needed.
