Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a related technical field with 8+ years (or 7+/6+ with advanced degrees) of software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience building complex platform software for embedded/heterogeneous systems.
• Strong C++ (modern standards) and cross‑team collaboration skills.
• Experience with Android and/or Linux embedded platforms; good debugging and profiling ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of XR platform software across OS, middleware, and frameworks.
• Define platform requirements and roadmaps with product, hardware, and software teams.
• Analyze AR/VR use cases and HW/SW partitioning for scalable system architectures.
• Translate requirements into implementation specifications and designs.
• Drive trade-offs in performance, latency, power, and user experience.
• Lead debugging, performance optimization, and code reviews across teams.
• Collaborate with CV/ML/graphics and camera experts to deliver XR products.
• Provide technical leadership and influence architecture decisions across multiple groups.
