Responsibilities

• Supervise restorative nursing and wound care programs with DNS.
• Review new or worsening wounds.
• Review pressure ulcer prevention interventions.
• Recommend pressure-relieving devices.
• Coordinate wound care with interdisciplinary team.
• Develop care plans for residents at risk or with skin integrity issues.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds with wound care consultants/providers and notify MD and family.
• Provide resident and staff education and collaborate with rehab services.
