Job summary

Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Wound Care to support nursing homes and long-term care facilities. The role is remote, based in the NJ/NY area, with travel up to 2 hours as needed.

A nursing license and wound care expertise are essential to develop and implement resident care plans. The position offers a starting salary of $80,000 per year, with benefits including travel reimbursement, paid holidays, PTO, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
• Wound care certification preferred
• Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel up to 2 hours away

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents with interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Educate and train nursing home staff on wound care techniques, products and equipment usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely wound care
• Monitor and document wound progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay updated on new developments
