Job summary

Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia seeks a Worship Arts Pastor/Team Leader to lead the 9:40 and 11:00 am services with a large choir, orchestra, band, and praise team. The role includes guiding production staff, scripting biblically rich worship, and coordinating with ministry leaders for church-wide events.

Responsibilities include directing seasonal musical components, overseeing Kid Sessions and Student Sessions, and managing budgets and team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead musical components of services
• Provide oversight to Kid Sessions (children’s choir) and Student Sessions (student players, singers, and choir)
• Recruit, lead, and supervise full and part‑time members of the Worship Arts Team
• Facilitate strategic, tactical, and one-on-one staff meetings with the Worship Arts Team
• Conduct cross-team meetings to coordinate services and events with musical and production components
• Using an established budgeting process, plan, steward, and execute the ministry’s budget
• Shepherd Worship Arts staff and volunteers and members of the church family
• Have evangelistic, baptism, and counseling conversations
