Job summary

Cliftondale United Methodist Church seeks a gifted and energetic Director of Music & Arts to lead and coordinate our church’s music and arts ministry. This part-time position works closely with the Senior Pastor, Worship Team, staff, choirs, praise team, and musicians to create meaningful worship experiences that inspire the congregation in praising and serving God.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in music or equivalent experience, strong skills in choir and praise team leadership,

Qualifications

• Degree in music or equivalent experience required.
• Strong choir and praise team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in piano and/or organ.

Responsibilities

• Plan worship music and lead choirs and musicians.
• Direct all choirs and support musicians for services.
• Coordinate concerts and special programs.
• Develop and grow the music and arts ministry.
