Job summary

Kainos seeks a skilled Workday FSI Financials Solution Architect in Indianapolis, US, to own the end-to-end finance design for financial services and insurance clients. You will translate finance needs into processes, data and system designs, guiding teams through delivery and shaping opportunities with reusable assets.

You will collaborate with sector leads and account teams to ensure governance, robust reconciliations, and clear design decisions across multiple Workday domains.

Qualifications

• Substantial Workday Financials experience across deployments.
• Deep knowledge of FDM, finance accounting and reporting.
• Experience with procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, banking and settlements.
• Finance transformation or delivery experience in an FSI subsector.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience leading senior customer workshops and documenting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and Phase 0 engagements with target architecture and roadmap.
• Own end-to-end Financials design including COA, multi-entity and multi-currency.
• Define how Workday Financials, Prism Analytics and Accounting Center fit with other platforms.
• Translate sector requirements into practical design choices for insurance.
• Establish governance across functional, data, integration, reporting and security.
• Guide delivery from design through testing, cutover and stabilisation.
• Support go-to-market with discovery, demos and estimates.
• Develop sector reference architectures and validation guidelines.
• Coach lead consultants and review delivery quality.
