Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Lead Engineer to guide the design, development, testing and optimization of warehouse management solutions using Manhattan Active WMS. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with DC operations, and align with business units to deliver multi-year transformations.

The role requires deep expertise in MA WMOS/MAWM, WES, MHE integrations, cloud/API development, and a strong focus on customer experience, agile delivery, and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in configuring/workflows within Manhattan WMS (WMOS/MAWM).
• Experience with WES and MHE implementations.
• Familiar with API development and Google Cloud.
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP/other systems (MIF).
• Strong communication, project management and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Manhattan Associates suite, MA Active WMS Platform.
• Lead and manage a team of Engineers and Senior Engineers.
• Integrate DC automation systems (WES, MHE) with WMS.
• Provide API development guidance and cloud support to the team.
• Develop and support MA Active ProActive custom changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into specs.
• Optimize warehouse operations with best practices and improvements.
• Monitor system performance and drive productivity enhancements.
