Job Title: Clinical Director (Full-Time)

Position Summary:

Are you a licensed and experienced Clinical Supervisor ready to take your leadership to the next level? We’re looking for a Full-Time Clinical Director to help lead, mentor, and empower our growing team of mental health professionals at our expanding Silver Spring office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and management of assigned supervisees (minimum of 5 supervisees)
  • Providing administrative and clinical supervision weekly to direct supervisees (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC) regarding service delivery, documentation, etc.
  • Maintaining documentation of supervision sessions
  • Conducting administrative audits of client charts for compliance with regulations, policies, and standards
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations and related activities
  • Performing monthly quality note reviews for supervisees
  • Completing administrative clinic discharges for supervisees
  • Overseeing intake meetings, client assignments, and clinical case meetings
  • Maintaining knowledge of mental health treatment models and DSM-5 criteria
  • Working independently and collaboratively across departments within HTS
  • Conducting monthly group supervision
  • Reconciling clinician activity reports
  • Managing case reassignments and chart audits for terminated or resigned supervisees
  • Leading the interview and hiring process, including onboarding new staff
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Active and unrestricted licensure (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent) and approved supervisor in Maryland
  • At least two years of senior management experience in mental health
  • Minimum of two years in supervisory or leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of mental health treatment modalities, clinical practices, and ethical standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary starting at $90,000+ (based on experience), W-2 position, flexible work options including hybrid, supportive work culture, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, 401K with matching, professional growth opportunities, wellness reimbursements.

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time (Monday–Friday), with occasional on-call or crisis support
  • Hybrid or in-office based on agency policy
