Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will manage Windows, VMware, and Citrix infrastructure, apply STIGs, and develop bash scripts for automation.

Requires deep experience with Windows Server/Desktop, Citrix Workspace/NetScaler, VMware, and security clearances. Strong documentation and collaboration with ISSOs are essential, with on-site work and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
4+ years of Microsoft Windows, Citrix and Vmware systems administration experience.
Active TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Desktop, Citrix Workspace systems, and Citrix NetScaler systems.
Experience in software installation and ability to troubleshoot application compatibility.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
Experience with Virtualization (KVM/VMware) and backup technologies such as Commvault, NAS, SAN, SAS, iSCSI.
Automate tasks using bash.
Collaborate with ISSOs to support audits, maintain STIG compliance, conduct risk assessments, and remediate Nessus/STIG findings.
Implement security patches, conduct system scans, and participate in audits for system integrity.
Support critical operations during standard hours and provide flexible support outside hours
