Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick is seeking an experienced Window & Door Installer to join our Production team in New Jersey. This role completes installations per contracts and company standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and capable of working independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include reviewing job packets, inspecting materials, ensuring site cleanliness, and communicating with homeowners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience installing and repairing windows, doors, and siding.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to safely lift and carry equipment up to 105 pounds.
• Experience using installation tools and equipment, including a brake.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to complete projects efficiently and within established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Install windows and doors per contracts and standards.
• Review job packets to understand full scope of work prior to installation.
• Inspect delivered materials for accuracy before beginning the project.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
• Prepare and protect the work area and maintain site cleanliness.
• Complete installations according to company standards and contracts.
• Relay any site concerns to Lead Installer/PM promptly.
• Review completed work for quality and accuracy before leaving site.
• Demonstrate product operations to homeowners.
• Submit completed timesheets daily.
