Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Background investigation for suitability.
• Random drug testing and pre-employment medical exam may be required.
• CDL eligibility and maintenance within 6 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Leads three or more firefighters and provides situational leadership.
• Oversees wildland fire module or crew in fuels management, fire suppression, and post-fire activities.
• Directs use of tools and equipment and decides optimal deployment.
