Job summary

The Supervisory Wildland Firefighter (Module Leader - Wildland Fire Module) position is with the US Wildland Fire Service, GW-0456-10, based in Tucson, AZ. The role requires extensive wildland firefighting experience and leadership of a module in fire suppression, prescribed fire, and related tasks.

Qualified applicants must have FFT1, S-290, and other NWCG qualifications such as TFLD, CRWB, ICT4, and FIRB; documentation of on-the-line firefighting experience is essential; SF-50 may be required

Qualifications

• Prior on-the-line firefighting experience is a mandatory prerequisite.
• To be eligible under IFPM, you must meet FFT1 and S-290 requirements.
• Must possess NWCG incident management qualifications: TFLD; CRWB; ICT4; FIRB.
• Experience in wildland firefighting must be on the fire line in containment, control, suppression or use of wildland fire.
• Must meet all minimum qualifications by the closing date of the announcement.
