Job summary

SDSU Research Foundation Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program invites applications for an RD Supervisor. This role provides individual nutritional counseling and oversees the implementation of care plans for pregnant and postpartum women, and caregivers of children in the WIC program.

Under the Area Supervisor and Assistant Director, you will supervise staff, deliver outreach through classes and community events, and ensure quality clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of WIC program operations and maternal/child nutrition.
• Ability to develop and implement nutrition care plans.
• Experience coordinating with community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group nutrition counseling for WIC participants.
• Prepare high-risk care plans and nutrition assessments.
• Oversee issuance of food packages and breastfeeding support.
• Supervise clinic staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in outreach, classes, and community events.
