Job summary

HTM Contractors, Inc. in Honolulu, HI seeks a Lead Welder to weld and repair equipment, trucks, dumpsters and fabricate items per blueprints. You will supervise 1–4 welders, coordinate scheduling, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced shop environment.

The position offers $32 per hour, full family medical and dental, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and PTO, weekly pay, and life insurance. Hours are Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding/manufacturing or related fields.
• Can supervise 1–4 employees.
• Estimating and take-offs for repair or building metal work (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Train and coordinate welders and shop staff.
• Estimate and take-offs for repairs and new builds.
• Order materials and manage inventory.
• Quality control and process improvements.
• Manufacture and fabricate dumpsters, containers, and equipment as per blueprints.
• Repair, assemble and install dumpsters and equipment.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements and verify specifications.
• Conduct weld tests for quality and tolerance.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
