Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Welder to join our Plano, TX manufacturing team. The role requires MIG welding experience (GMAW) on mild or low alloy steel and the ability to read fabrication drawings.

You will read weld maps, inspect fits, and weld to tolerances while prioritizing safety and quality. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months MIG welding experience, can operate basic measuring devices, and communicate in English (Spanish as needed).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Experience reading weld maps.
• Experience with CNC, press brake, or blanking fabrication.
• Experience with powder coating systems.
• Ability to read and understand tolerances and fabricate parts within allowance.

Responsibilities

• Weld using GMAW (MIG) on mild or low alloy steel.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings for proper fit and welds.
• Weld components to specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Read weld maps and verify weld quality with measuring devices.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
