Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Welder - Level 4 for the 2nd shift to guide the welding team on site. You will ensure welding procedures, materials, and rod sizes meet project specifications while coordinating with flight control, engineering, and other groups.

You will lead by example, maintain high safety standards, and push for continuous improvements in throughput and quality across complex structures and stands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of welding experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW.
• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Lead welding or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the welding team daily.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members and contractors.
• Report status and issues to leadership and customers via emails and updates.
