Job summary

ResourceMFG in Rogers, MN is seeking an experienced Lead Welder to supervise welding operations and guide a team manufacturing architectural metal products.

You will perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel, verify parts meet specifications, read blueprints, and coordinate with the Plant Manager on priorities. The role includes overtime and occasional Saturdays; full-time employment with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to fabricate components from blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with rough grinding and DA sanding.
• Previous sheet metal industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to use calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to weld aluminum and stainless steel components.
• Supervise welding projects and support fellow welders to ensure quality and productivity goals are achieved.
• Communicate regularly with the Plant Manager regarding welding priorities and project status.
• Verify that parts meet specifications before and after welding.
• Assist with assembly and fabrication of parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
