Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
• Follow established methods and procedures.
• Travel required: < 10%
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Global Breadth: Single-Site (One Location)
• Prerequisite Training Course completed.

Responsibilities

• Weld together metal components as specified using arc-welding equipment or spot welder.
• Set up electrode wire per procedure for welding setup.
• Position and clamp pieces in a jig or fixture.
• Strike arc and guide electrode to form proper weld depth and bead.
• Examine welds for bead size and specs.
• Clean or degrease weld joints as needed.
• Maintain 5S and clean work area; keep boards updated.
