Qualifications

• Extensive experience welding aluminum and steel in commercial or marine environments.
• Ability to pass the company's internal welding qualification test.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team of welders.
• Strong fabrication, fitting, and structural repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and mentor daily welding department activities.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; lay out and fabricate components.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Project Management, and other trades.
• Train and develop welders; participate in performance evaluations.
