Robinhood is building the future of finance from our Menlo Park, CA office. This role sits on the Options Web team, delivering web experiences for options trading across web and Legend, with collaboration across product, design, and mobile teams.

In-person hybrid attendance is expected at least 3 days per week. You will lead frontend efforts, own projects end to end, and drive performance and observability improvements while working with a passionate, fast-moving team committed to high-impact

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience building production web applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a track record of root-causes in performance and data problems.
• Experience owning projects end to end, from design through rollout.
• Experience leading projects and setting technical direction, such as improving performance or observability.
• Clear communication about technical tradeoffs with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Nice to have: familiarity with options trading or fintech/trading products.
• Nice to have: prior tech lead experience, including at smaller companies.

Aufgaben

• Act as tech lead for options on web, setting direction on platform topics like performance and observability.
• Design, build, test, and roll out features in React and TypeScript across trading flows, onboarding, and monitoring tools.
• Own projects end to end, from options team projects to large cross-team efforts.
• Break larger projects into smaller pieces and guide other engineers.
• Diagnose complex performance problems and data issues, find root causes, and set up monitoring.
• Partner with product managers and designers to shape and ship customer-facing features.
• Work with the mobile options team for consistent cross-platform features.
