Job summary

Intone Inc in Houston, TX seeks a Lead Web Developer for a 12-month contract to drive web development across the full technology stack.

You will lead projects, design responsive interfaces, develop REST APIs, and ensure performance, accessibility, and SEO-friendly code.

Required: Bachelor's in CS or equivalent, HTML5/CSS3/JS mastery, experience with jQuery, Ember.js, Angular.js, and familiarity with Git, SVN, and TFS. Travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript mastery.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, Ember.js, and Angular.js.
• Expertise in responsive web design and mobile interface development.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility testing and solutions.
• Understanding of SEO concepts and optimization techniques.
• Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, XML, XSD, XSL, and XPath.
• Familiarity with template engines and MVC frameworks.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git, SVN, and TFS.
• Advanced proficiency in object-oriented coding and scripting languages including Java, .NET/C#, PHP, and Ruby.
• Experience with relational database modeling and advanced SQL development.
• Ability to work with graphic editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Lead web development projects using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Design and implement responsive web interfaces with fluid layouts and mobile-first approaches.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs, AJAX integrations, and server-side services.
• Create CSS3 animations and implement advanced styling solutions.
• Build and maintain in-house JavaScript libraries of reusable components.
• Conduct rapid prototyping and demonstrate design concepts and functionality to clients.
• Create and execute unit tests using established testing frameworks.
• Manage source control workflows and commit code to repositories.
• Perform database design, modeling, and develop advanced SQL queries and procedures.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address browser-specific issues.
• Implement SEO best practices in code and site structure.
• Set up, configure, and host websites on IIS and Apache servers.
• Travel to client locations as needed.
