Title: Lead Front End Developer
Location: Frisco, TX 75034
Duration : 03 – 06 Months Contract to Hire
Responsibilities
- This role reports to the Director of Experience Design.
- Candidates must be able to provide examples of work (ideally showing designs referenced, code produced, and accessible examples)
- Develops user interface design prototypes to serve as a guide for system/program development.
- Build and maintain HTML and CSS for different components and styles in a live style guide
- Ability to complete documentation on how to use components in the style guide
- Ability to diagnose UI bugs in the working application and fix them in the web application
- Completes code reviews with other developers
- Stays abreast of new trends and produces proof of concepts to show design team what is possible.
- Travel is estimated to be below 5%
- Experience working in an agile environment, updating tasks in scrums, meeting commitments provided to different agile teams
- Participate in collaborative review of functional and technical requirements.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study. 5+ years of required experience coding.

- Basic understanding of design sensibilities focusing on ensuring outstanding usability and aesthetics characteristics.
- Experience with Web Application development and Responsive Design Framework.
- Familiarity with MVC, MVVM and Single Page Application.
- Strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills. Able to attend meetings, take notes, and ensure tasks are completed
- Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines.
- Code development management experience (using Git(hub) and pull requests)
- Style Guide creation and update experience (particularly with Handlebars and JSON)
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Online (VSO) ideally (or other similar development work tracking such as Jira or ScrumWorks)
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Fractal.build documentation
- Usability testing experience or certifications
- Experience developing for touch and gesture UIs
- QA certifications
- Familiarity with Slack, Trello
- Experience working with Team to build complex enterprise applications.
- Familiarization of Agile methodologies is a plus particularly SAFe.
