Job summary

MOHR Talent in North Bethesda, MD is hiring a Lead Wealth Advisor - CFP to inherit an established client book of 100+ households. Hybrid schedule with in-office Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays, base salary $170,000-$180,000 plus bonus, and a strong emphasis on client retention, financial planning, and relationship management.

You will lead client meetings, deliver comprehensive financial plans in eMoney, provide investment guidance, and mentor advisory staff.

Qualifications

• CFP® certification highly preferred.
• Series 7 highly preferred.
• Series 66 OR Series 63 + Series 65 highly preferred.
• eMoney experience highly preferred.
• 5+ years of client-facing financial advisory / wealth management experience.
• Experience personally managing high-net-worth client relationships.
• Strong comprehensive financial planning background.
• Strong understanding of investment management and portfolio strategy.
• Experience leading client meetings independently.
• Experience mentoring or directing advisory support staff.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established wealth management firm that has an urgent need for an experienced Lead Wealth Advisor.

This is a rare opportunity to step directly into an established book of approximately 100+ households.

Your first priority is client retention, financial planning, and relationship management - not cold prospecting or building a book from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Become the primary advisor for approximately 100+ existing households
• Lead client meetings and own long-term client relationships
• Manage and deliver comprehensive financial plans in eMoney
• Provide investment strategy, portfolio oversight, and recommendations
• Identify planning opportunities across retirement, tax, estate, risk, and investment needs
• Lead and mentor Service Advisors and advisory support staff
